Address validation

Hi All,

As part of our project we have to check if the address present in the records is Valid or not. We have to check the same in 2 scenarios, One is in a set of records while doing cleansing and the other is to see if the Customer entering the address data from a Web portal.

First one I knew that It can be achieved by using the Cleansing packages for a specific country. But I have few questions.

1) Do we require any extra files to be installed on the BODS server.

2) How to achieve address validation when the Customer enter his details online through a Web portal, Do we need to use a real time Job or what is the mechanism to achieve this

3) Can we use Information Steward for the same.

4) How to perform the address enrichment as well.

Kindly please help me on this.

1. You can do cleaning by parsing. It depends on the requirement. You need to have address cleansing packages in Data quality

2. If you have to do address clean in real time then you have to set real time job..

Hi,

If you have to validate the data during real time, in that scenario we have to set up real time job. From the description it seems that's your case.
