SQL Anywhere 16 says Remote Servers can be JDBC, but the "Create Remote Server Wizard" is not clear e.g. FileMaker Server has a JDBC Driver ( fmjdbc.jar ). Can that be added ? in which Folder ? How would I specify the Driver ? e.g. com.filemaker.jdbc.driver ? the URL ? FileMaker Server is on a different machine Thanks greg

AFAIK, SQLA Anywhere 16 has dropped the support of JDBC-based remote servers, see the according "What's New" setion, to quote from the "Discontinued features":

JDBC-based remote data access server classes
The JDBC-based remote server classes are not supported in this software release. These classes include the ASEJDBC, IQJDBC, and SAJDBC remote server classes.

That being said, I can't tell whether you can use the generic ODBC remote server class to access FileMaker.
