Activate BW Content for RCA ERROR

Hi Experts,

I am using SOLMAN 7.1 SPS 15 and facing error in Activate BW Content for RCA

Further checking in CCMS_BI_SETUP, I found:

ERROR: errors while content activation occured
ERROR: InfoObject 0HDB_MAXDUR (or ref.) used in InfoProvider with data managmnt.-> Error:
ERROR: InfoObject 0HDB_MAXDUR: Aggregation was changed from SUM to MAX ERROR: InfoObject 0HDB_MAXDUR being used in InfoCube 0HDB_C19H (contains data) INFO: Setup step ACTIVATE_QUERIES complete (25.04.2017 17:13:35)
Error occurred, check the logs
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

I found SAP Note 2001589 - In Solution Manager Setup step "Activate BW content for RCA" fails with error in InfoObject 0SMD_NOEX

The symptoms are almost same but in my case it gives error in InfoObject 0HDB_MAXDUR.
Please advise whether the note is applicable in my case.

Hi,

This is the problem described in note 2223047.
2223047 - HANA: Aggregation of Savepoints in Database Analysis is wrong

You need to delete the information in this infocube and then perform again the activation.

Thanks for the input. Today(26/04/2017) I can see SAP released note for this issue

2463395 - "Activate BW content for RCA" fails in Solman_Setup, Basic Configuration in Solution Manager 7.1

Hi,

Seems in your case Snot is not applicable. I feel info cube (0HDB_C19H) contains data and it is throwing an error while activating the content. Please back up the data and try again. if further any issues try to apply Snote if relevant.

Also cross check clients, user locks and RFC connections and run again.

Hey,

Seems database using is HANA. Try to run these two reports and ten activate BW content for RCA.

SE38 RS_BW_POST_MIGRATION in background with POSTMIGRHDB variant

SE38 RSDU_TABLE_CONSISTENCY run with store issues and repair issues options one by one
