Hi All,

Adobe says the Flash Player will be terminated at 12/31/2020.

Some SAP products, such as BI 4.x central management console monitoring functions or SAP IQ 16.x IQ cockpit uses Adobe Flash Player.

Do you know SAP direction after Adobe Flash Player support termination ?

Hello Sakuma,

In BI 4.2 SP06 central management console monitoring we already removed the Flash. monitoring user interface updated with SAP UI5.

Thanks,

Hari

Hi Hari,

thank you for answering my question.

I checked BI4.2 SP06 and I confirmed that it was switched from FlashPlayer to SAPUI.

This SAP Note: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2905488 provides information on how we are mitigating the EOL of Flash by Adobe for SAP IQ Cockpit.

Dear Robert,

Do you know if there is an update about Flash-based widgets in SAP Business One Fiori Cockpit? Or is everything related to the same thing?

Thanks a lot,

Marc

Hi Marc,

I can only comment specifically on the IQ Cockpit and in general on the other 'Sybase' database tooling that has been impacted by the Adobe Flash EOL. I don't have insight into the mitigation plans for any of the Flash widgets in SAP Business One.
