Good morning,
I have a mysterious issue:
Just installed the ABAP developer trial 752 on VBox and openSuse. Installation finished, everything seems to be fine.
But I get error messages in ASE log immediately after starting SAP instance, indicating that there isn't enough space in data device. E.g. "Can't allocate space for object 'DDLOG' in database 'NPL' because 'default' segment is full/has no free extents".
I added space to the device (disk resize ...) and assigned it to the database (alter database ...). The sp_helpdb command shows plenty of free space, but still get the above error???
Can anybody help?
Regards, Manfred

Sorry, I should have searched more carefully 😐
There's already a solution for this issue, see https://community.sap.com/t5/technology-blog-posts-by-members/resize-ase-database-in-npl-7-52-sp-04/...
Thanks, Manfred
