Hi,

I have created a custom screen replicating the Sales Order Screen and upon loading of the OWL screen, "500 SAP Internal Server Error" Pops. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Also, I have followed these steps for the creation/replication of the Sales Order Screen https://blogs.sap.com/2015/04/23/how-custom-queries-work-on-owl/. Appreciate all the help.

Thanks and Regards,

JM Angeles

Dear JM Angles,

As this is dump, we might need to debug and check this issue forward, however could you please cross check the belowing:

1. Ensure that the bindings are correct.

2. Ensure the event configurations are done correctly.

3. Please update the metadata and activate affected UI from UI designer.

4. Please check " Checkmate" tool and see if you can get some more information about this error.

If you still cannot solve, kindly report an incident so that we can analyze further.

Hi JM Angeles,

Upon checking the dump error log we could see dump was raised due to Binding issue and you can check and fix the same at your end by using Check Mate from the designer. You can refer blog https://blogs.sap.com/2018/11/16/checkmate-in-ui-designer/ to understand more about this functionality.

If you still face the same error even after fixing the UI data field /Root/RootLevel binding then I would request you to reopen the same incident.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Deepty,

We have checked also the check mate function from the UI Designer but it does not return any error at all. I guess I have to reopen the incident. Thanks for the feedback appreciate it.

JM

Hi jm.angeles,

I have checked this error with reference to the reported incident and could see error was raised due to ‘Binding of UI data field /Root/RootLevel/SAP_UUID failed: ESR field=SAP_UUID’. Please follow below steps and recheck :

  1. Login to SDK.
  2. Open PDI solution
  3. Right click and click on Activate.

Please refer incident for more details.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Deepty,

How do I check/debug if the screen that I have created is really working? With regards to its values/data.

Thanks and Regards,
