0MATERIAL Data Flow

We're now in BI 7.

The InfoObject Master Data 0MATERIAL has Atrribute.

The Transfer Rule is created and linked directly to the 0MATERIAL_ATTR Datasource. I am not sure how this can be done. Because if I right-click on the 0Vendor Attribute, I only see the Create Update Rule...Do you think this is correct? I thought that we should always have Datasource -> Transfer Rule ->InfoSouce -> Update Rule -> InfoObject Attribue.

(Of cox we're using Transformation in BI 7 but this is the exiting 3.x Dataflow).

When I load the data via 0MATERIAL_ATTR, I can see the Request is loaded successfully into Data Target in the monitoring.

However, when I right-click the Material Attribute ->Manage, I dont see the Request.

If I go to Change Run, I dont see the 0MATERIAL there too!

Please advise.

was the flow migrated recently??

most probably its a flow of master data with a direct update which was built in 3.0 version and upgraded to 7.0 version.

In case of direct update you go to the infosource tab and there you find the object and transfer rules for that object and if you right click on the manage then you will not see any see request.

Until you create update rules i.e use the new flow... you will not see the request in the manage.This is how initially master data objects were updated in BW in version 3.0 and before.

The reason for not able to see in material in attribute change can be.... that material is not selected in that attribute change run...or it should show.May be you should try to check the job log of attribute change run.... or the various attribute change run scheduled in the system and you will see material in one of them.

Yes, in InfoSource, I can see the 0Material.

When I right-click on the Material (Attribute) ->Manage, I still dont get to see any request. Why?

After I loaded the request to 0Material, I dont get to see the 0Material in Apply Hierarchy/Change Run ->InfoObject List. Why?

Please advise.
