SAP Analytics Cloud is always striving to provide the best user assistance possible to its customers. To enhance our help documentation, the user assistance team will be running a pilot in which customers will be able to add comments directly to the documentation.

The main goal of this project is to get closer to our customers to collect feedback and improve our documentation help based on your comments.

How can you add comments to the documentation?

To be able to add comments on the SAC documentation, you simply need to register on the SAP Help Portal and create an account. Customers with an SAP S-user ID will be able to sign automatically without registering with an email account.

Once that’s done, go to the SAP Analytics Cloud official documentation and start reviewing the documentation.

To add a comment:

  1. Highlight the text you want to review.
  2. Click the pen icon.

  1. Add your comment in the pop-up field.
  2. Click Enter.

Your comment will be acknowledged by the user assistance team.

When should you add comments?

The project aims at refining the SAP Analytics Cloud documentation, and we'd love to hear your feedback on any issues you find or improvements you'd like to see in help, such as:

  • Typos and misprints.
  • Imprecisions, inconsistencies or vagueness in the documentation.
  • Clarification requests.
  • Discrepancies between what the documentation describes and how the application performs.
  • Incorrect workflows.

We kindly ask you to not consider this pilot as a feature request channel. For development enhancements or feature requests, make sure to use the appropriate Customer Influence channel.

For bugs and issues you might encounter within the product, please refer to the Support Portal.

When should you expect a response?

Depending on the comment, the time needed to investigate may vary. For this reason, we kindly ask you to be patient. We assure you that the user assistance is striving to improve the documentation based on your feedback and is doing its best to respond in a timely manner.

You will be notified via email as soon as a user assistance designer responds to it and changes its status.

The team will do its best to address all of the received feedback. .

Best Regards,

The SAP Analytics Cloud User Assistance Team
