Hi,
I read that in SRM 7.0 there s a new concept of process driven workflow that executes different process level.
Eg: i can define a process schema with 2 levels.
level 1 for completion of SC
level 2 for approval.
The same thing can be done is application workflow also right.. even in srm 5.0 you can have a SC completion workflow precede a approval workflow right?
I want to know the difference between the two workflow and what the advantage or disadvantage of using both.
Additionally, In the process controlled workflow, why cant the the n-step approval BAdI workflow be utilized?

Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
SRM 7.0 supports both Application-Controlled Workflow and Process-Controlled Workflow but mixed usage is not supported.
Application-Controlled Workflow - for upgrade customers
Process-Controlled Workflow - for new customers
Future new enhanced functions are only delivered in Process-Controlled Workflow. Application-Controlled Workflow is like maintenance mode and no more enhancement.
Regards,
Masa
