Create new Parameter ID

Hi,

I have created a new data element, and I want to create a new parameter Id related to this new element.

I have tried fulfilling the field PARAMETER ID in Definition Tab (while editing the data element), but an error occurs, the parameter Id is not in TPARA table.

Can anybody tellme how to create a new Parameter ID?

Hi,

goto transaction SM30 for table tpara and create your new parameter.

Instead of editing TPARA, you can go to SE80, Other object button -> More... tab -> SET/GET parameter ID.

Enter a name and press the create button.

'RS_PARAMETER_ADD'
