Implementation time for SAP EHS

My client already have SAP ERP and wants to know how long does the implementation of SAP EHS. Someone can provide me this information?

only some minor add on: same question has been asked a lot on the same level of detail. I would assume that time line for project is more like 12 month than 6. This depends on factors as: is there a "legacy" system content to transfer? How to populate the SAP EHS system? by user? by upload etrc.

Hi Dario,

This is very generic question and depends on so many things. Few influencing factors I am listing down.

1. SAP offers classic EH&S solution on GUI and now web-based EHSM solution also which is the latest solution roadmap SAP has embarked on. Going forward, EHSM is the way for SAP solutions in HSE space. Not all EHS solutions are yet available on EHSM platform.So, which one your client would like to pick?
2. SAP EHS solutions broadly covers many modules in areas of Product Compliance, Health & Safety and Environmental Performance. SAP also offers on-demand services, regulatory content and standalone cloud solutions in this space. So, which areas your client is interested in?
3. Whether your client is having global footprint? If Big-bang implementation approach is preferred or initial implementation for one location/business vertical and then subsequent roll-out is preferred?
4. Is it discreet or process industry?

There can be many other considerations, but if I have to provide a sense of the timelines, it can vary from 6 months to 1.5 yrs depending upon the answers to above questions.
