Hello Experts,
I am facing an issue while creating additional Value assignment instance inside property tree for a specification in transaction CG02.
Already, I have 1st value assignment instance but when I try to add another instance for characteristics the system throws an error message "Invalid reference value in field OWNID". I am not sure as what is the error all about.
Please find the below screen shots for detail explanation.

Thanks in advance

Hello
this type of error is discussed (if i remember correct) only in one different thread. There are "two" (may be more) reasons
1.) in your "user" profile there might be a parameter existing, referencing an "invalid" ownid. So if you try to create/change/update a data record the system tries to insert data using the "invalid" data
2.) the "ownid" can be part of custimizing (I believe it is part of substance authorization set up). Here a "parameter" might be added referring to an invallid "ownid"
The "ownid" is not used very often; therefore many consultants "really forget" that this parameter exists. But please check data model (e.g. ESTRH etc.). It is part (if i remember correct) of nearly any EHS table there
C.B.
