Hi Experts,
I would like to know are there any performance considerations while deciding for Single Server Vs Multi Server Installation, we are planning to have BPC 7.5 M and I would like to now which type of installation is better (Single Server OR Multi Server)?
Thanks,
Rohit
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Rohit,
its depending of the number of concurrent user and the volume of your total Data.
The advantage of a Multi-Server Environment is, that it is easier to scale (add a second Application Server if the number of user increases etc.)
For a productive environment with more than 15 user i would always use at least a 2 Server environment to separate Web/Application server and Database Server.

Hi Rohit,
adding to the Jörg answer, multi-server is useful when there are hardware issues, with single server BPC stops to work, with multi-server one of the server continues to work and the users aren't blocked maybe they work just slower.
"Are there any known issues for scenario where Single server environment is being used for more than 30 active users"
no there aren't limits if you follow the hardware requisites given by SAP in the installation documentation.
Kind regards
Roberto
Hi Rohit,
Please go through the BPC MS Performance and Sizing Guide available in Service Marketplace for your query. Below is the link for the same.
