BW Hierarchy Node Variable issue

Hello Experts,

I have my queries built using BW Hierarchy Node Variables and Characteristic Value variables.

Everything was working fine until a keyfigure setting was changed. Apart from this, no other thing was changed.

Now, my characteristic value variable is working fine but when i use F4 on hierarchy node variable, i am only able to see the result for which values are posted (inshort, it is behaving like it is set to 'Posted Values for Navigation').

I have checked the setting at Query level, the infoobject for the same is set to Master Data values and also in AFO, I have Access Mode set to Master Data values but still it is only showing Posted Values.

have you already checked the SAP Support Portal for your BW release / Patch level?

Have you tested it after new query generation in RSRT or just create one new variable of same type, and exchange it in a test query?

I have not had this issue and no solution, so I can just guess...

Thank you for the reply.

I have checked the notes and yes, I have checked in RSRT and created a new variable and tested it in a test query. Its the same. However, using a Characteristic value variable does not have any issue, I am able to view the master data but issue still pertains with Hierarchy node variable which was working fine until past few days.

I tried this on other characteristics too, I can conclude that there is some issue with Hierarchy node variables.
