Work order component screen

Hello,

I have a requirement to add the component description field to the  "Component Detail Purchasing Data" screen in the work order.

Please see screenshot. I went to SPRO Plant Maintenance and customer service->maintenance and Service orders->Define Field Selection for Order Header Data (PM)

And I tried below config

Plant Maintenance and customer service->maintenance and Service orders->List Editing->Define Field selection for Component Data Fields

But with no luck, any idea if the "Component Detail Purchasing Data" screen can be configured at all?

I am not sure that it is what you are looking for... But I hope it will resolve your request...

Thank you both for the quick reply. We decided not activate the business function suggested by Anton since its not worth the effort for a "nice to have" feature.

Abdul,

Unfortunately there are no available screen fields for your requirement (see image below).

You could try changing this screen, but it would be a modification (not recommended).

Why do you need this info when you can move the popup box and see the material description in the under-lying screen?
