Hi..

Can anybody help me to provide value string list in account determination?

I want to know the relationship between value string and transaction key

hi

when u enter any plant in migo system will detrmine the val grp code

then when u enter mov type in migo system will detrmine transactionkeys

when u enter the material system will pick up the val class

so system will search for acct in combination of all this

and ur acct will get hit

u can read the help in

search for the automatic acct determination on net u will get many threads

Hi,

Posting records are assigned to each relevant movement type in Inventory Management and to each transaction in Invoice Verification.

Value Strings indicates the posting rule that always contains the same account assignment characteristics for a certain transaction or event (for example a goods movement or an invoice receipt).

Each goods movement is assigned to a Value String and each Value String inturn is assigned to Transaction/ Event keys. These settings are pre-defined and can not be changed.

You can see the linking of Value Strings in the following tables:

T156S- Movement Type: Quantity/ Value Posting (For movement type--> Value String)

T156W- Posting String Values (For Value String--> Transaction/ Event key)

I had found the following Value Strings in the system: WA01, WA03, WA04, WA06, WE01, WE06 and WF01.

Material types is assigned to A/c Cat Ref, A/c Cat. Ref is

assigned to Val. Class; Val. Class is assigned to G/L A/c.

Val. Area also assigned to Val. Grouping code. Val.

modifier assigned to Val. class as well as G/L A/c.

Configuration :

OMWM : Activate Val. grp. code

OMSK : Create New A/c Cat. Ref; Val. Class. and A/c Cat Ref

is assigned to Mat. type.

OMWD : Assign val. area (plant) to Val. grouping code (0001)

OBYC : Assign Val. Modifier (0001), New Val. class, New G/L

A/c.

Now you can create new material and assign new val. calss

in Accounting 1 view. For this material you can create po,

and GR now debit in your GL account.

thanks alot for your helpful explanation

I know some of value string created by SAP, for example WA01. WA01 assigned to several t.keys (BSX, GBB, PRD, UMB)

and as I know in the SAP system, the value string WA01 is assigned to various goods issues and

other goods receipts.

So, my question is

Can I get the list of value string and what it's assign for?
