Could you please clarify which enhancement point or BAdI can be used to implement custom bin filtering logic (e.g., bay load validation) during automatic bin determination in warehouse task creation, as /SCWM/EX4_CORE_PTS_FILT_EMP is not triggered in this scenario?

The object you mentioned is a classic EWM enhancement object which is under the /SWCM/. However, identifying an alternative enhancement point or BAdI for custom bin filtering would be an EWM ABAP enhancement topic. This type of enhancement is available in an on-prem/private cloud environment where you have the possibility to carry out ABAP enhancement implementations.

So, in this case, the Public Cloud does not offer you a standard Fiori configuration or key user extensibility. In a standard cloud setup, you should check custom bin filtering against standard EWM configuration options, e.g., storage section search, bin type determination, putaway control indicator, etc.

So, if your requirement is to inject custom ABAP logic into automatic bin determination, then consider on-prem or private cloud.
