Hi All,

I am performing 311 movement type with reference to production order in MB1C.But system is giving the error message Goods movement not possible with mvmt type 261.But for the same production order i amable to do it in MF60 but user need only MB1C.

So kindly guide me to resolve the issue.

Hi

1. Transfer posting is simply movement of stock from one location to other which can be done thru mvmt type 311. (T code MIGO or MB1B)

2. MB1c is Goods recipts (either for direct stck upload(561) or other GR like (501)

3. Transfer posting with 311 can not be done against the process/production order.

Use Tcode-MB1B for the same. or use MIGO > Transfer Posting > other (for movment type-311).

Hi

The movement type 311 is one step stock transfer from one storage location to another ,you an do this via MIGO,or MB1B

The MBIC is used for goods receipt for other like intial entry of stock balances(561,563,565) and goods receipt without purchase order ( mvttype 501,503,505) or without production order( 521,523,525) and delivery free of charge (511)

So if you are doing transfer posting withreference to production order use MIGO,or MB1B

Hi,

MB1C is used for initial entry of stock balances, here you can reference the production order. With 311 Mvt type you cannot perform in MB1C. Mb1b is used for transfer posting with 311Mvt Type.FM60 is for material staging for planned /production order. For transfer posting you cannot refernce production order.261 Mvt type is used for GI Against production order. By oserving all this there is a mismatch of selecting Mvt type and transaction.
