The difference between Issue method using back flush and manual

I still confuse what is the difference between issue method using backflush and manual ?

When an item should be used the backflush and manual ?

HI

Backflush-The item which is in backflush will issue components Automatically.

It means that,you dont need manually issue components,by right clicking issue components.

You use this method when there is no batch controlled item exist.

Manual-The item which is in manual,uou should issue components manually.

It means that,you need to manually issue components,by right clicking issue components.

You use this method when there is batch controlled item exist.

Hi Jia Shun,

In brief, manual issue will only issue the material by manual entry but backflush can bypass the issue by automatically issue the material in the same time when you receive/complete the production order.

It is up to you to decide which one you need. The manual issue give you more control in material management. However, it may not be realistic in many industries that have too many items to control.

Hi Former Member,

Back flush – When you create the A/R order or production order you don`t have to issue the item manually, the components are automatically issued to the production order.

Manual – When you create the A/R order or production order you have to issue the item manually, the components are manually issued to the production order.
