Technical Objects - Display like IH01

Hi,

Greetings,

I am trying to Find an APP to display the Technical Object in structrual way. Like it was in IH01 in the OP system

I am not able to find any APP.

So which means i am not able do any Drill down from one FLOC to the lowest level.

Any suggestions.

Hi Dsk

The Transaction IH01 is not available in S/4HANA Cloud .

Instead, for S/4HANA Cloud we have the Asset Viewer as mentioned by Bálint which is accessible through

the app Display Technical object . The transactions IE03 / IL03 are not available in S/4HANA Cloud and instead

they are viewable in this app Display Technical object

The app is available when the Role SAP_BR_MAINTENANCE_PLANNER is assigned to the user in the Maintain Business User app .

Alternatively there is an API A_FuncnlLocStrucList in S/4HANA Cloud that can be used to retrieve the structure

of a Functional Location as well

Hi Satheeskumar,

If you display a technical object in Asset Viewer, you should be able to see all the details which are available in the IH01 transaction (and even more). Don't forget to maintain the values in the Navigator Settings.

This is a WebDynpro application, with this app you will be able to display the structure of your assets (including Functional Locations, pieces of Equipment, Spare Parts) even with linked objects (e.g. notifications, orders) and available objects (e.g. task list operations, characteristics, measuring points etc.).

We are using at this moment the Fiori environment for almost two years and we really are missing an app for the Asset Viewer. Indeed in GUI there was IH01, form here you could navigate to other environment. (notificiatons, orders, tasklist etc) In Fiori they have tried to build it as Ultimo, but SAP did not succeed. It is a pity because Asset Viewer do have all items to become a succesfull navigation tool for Techncial Objects. I already reached out to SAP in the past, but no reaction. There was a promise to do something in Q1-2024, but I never heard anything anymore. The basis of Technical Object has disappeared in Fiori.
