Hi Every one,

Need advice and help

There is a  situation in our business were we have a requirement

Please let us know the best way to deal with Customer accounts that are no longer valid i.e were set up incorrectly, no transactions have ever taken place on the account. And also how do we deal with customers Accounts that are very old or the Business is no longer in existence.

At present the Business process  we follow is is to mark these accounts for deletion .

is it possible to manage our customer accounts more efficiently.

FOR EXAMPLE … when a user searches for a customer record, they enter their search criteria in t code  Xd03 and customers that have been marked for deletion are displayed as part of the results of the users search.

The Business would prefer that customers marked for deletion are no longer displayed when a user searches the system.

Hello Sheikh,

First marked the customer for deletion in the master data.

If the customer transaction data exists under co. code level it is not possible to delete the customer master data in OBR2. First check the delete customers tab, enter customer no, select with general master data for co. code level then give the co. code number. After that run this data in test mode. one it is successsful so pls  go ahead to do this in PROD environment.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Sheikh Faraz,

You can go to t-code OBR2.

Enter the selection criteria as below:

Deletion quantity selection --> Delete customer and enter the customer number.

Deletion depth --> With General master data (Enter the company code)

Program control --> check mark Test run, Customer detail log. After checking the test run, remove the test run and execute in production run. You can verify the same in KNB1 table, the customer number which you have deleted should not appear.
