before you create a query you should make sure that you see the data in the desired table using SE16.

EKKN is filled if your PO is account assigned.

In orders to stock, automatic account determination is carried out, you will then find the accounting document in BKPF (header) and BSEG (item data)

Hi,

we found something strange on EKKN. sometimes it gives some result and sometimes not.

we tried with two PO invoiced with MIRO and one appears but the other one not.

can you tell us if there is any particular condition to fill the table?

thanks

are both POs with account assignment indicator?

Hi Jurgen,

we have now discovered that not all the PO have the account assignement indicator filled. may be this is the cause of our issue? how we can correct it?

you certainly cannot make any PO to have an account assignment, as you then would never create valuated stock.

Only items that are not procured to stock will have an account assignment.

Can you describe what purpose the report should solve?

Maybe we then can recommend something

hi the purpose of the query is to extract the account fields (cost center and G/L) related to POs using either the material or the PO number

a cost center is only seen in an account assigned PO. Hence you can concentrate on account assignment K, and because of that you can get the info from EKKN table and ignore all orders that are used to procure to stocked items.

Hi

You can write a query with T.Code - SQVI with table join conditions adding with table name and field names

it will solve your problem.

Thanks & Regards,

Mani

Hi Mani,

i tried with SQVI but i have the same issue. the it doesn't work. it seems that table EKKN is giving problem because without it the query works but when i link it to the other table we receive the message that no data where found.

do you now if tabel EKKN is filled only when the order are invoiced?

thanks

HI Jurgen,

as i explained we tried with EKKN table but without success, we had a blank result.

our combination is, EKKO - EKPO - EKET - MSEG and it works.

but if we put EKKN the queries does not work.

do you know if there is a link we are missing?

thanks
