Hi Ambarish,

First of all schema r using in MM module to maintain the price for procuring materials.

In S&D we only maintain the pricing procedure....

We wont want to disclose all condition type to our customer all the time...

in that case we can maintain STATISTICAL CONDITION TYPE and also for our reporting purpose we use the same some times.

We are maintaining cost of a material in Material Master record.

we are also maintaining VPRS condition type in pricing procedure to know the profit margin & we will not wish to show it to our customer.

so we have to mark VPRS as statistical condition type & we can see it in sales order ut not in the output...

hope it will help u to understand properly

regards Dibya

Hello,

The statical Column check against the condition type in the pricing procedure is used to add the value stastically. That is, the value represented this step will not alter the overall value in th epricing procedure.

This may be used for example, to represent the cost price of the material sold (VPRS).

Hi,

Statistical condition types, such as cash discount, cost, and profit margin - are for information only and have no effect on the net order value. They appear at the bottom of the pricing screen.

For example, GRWR can be used to fetch the net domestic value (fair market value). This value can be used when the product crosses a border, in foreign trade, for example the shippers export declaration (SED) in US.

Similarly, using condition type VPRS, you can compare the cost of the goods with the prices.
