SQL 2005 license availability

Hi experts,

Our client want to go for SQL2005 since SQL 2008 they are facing problems.

But their local vendor told them that SQL2005 license is not available in market.

Please provide information urgently.

hey which location are u in.sql2005 license are still in mkt and u can purchase them verywell.

Hi Hemkanya,

why should SAP sell B1 2005 licenses longer? There is B1 2007 available and in near future B1 8.8.

I think, if your customer have a running B1 2005 with licenses, there is a possibility to get more licenses. But afaik B1 2005 do not support SQL 2008. Therefor you should upgrade to 2007 or wait for 8.8
