Solution Manager training doc

can anyone suggest/guide me with training doc for solution manager. I am a QM Consultant and interested in going for certification in Solution Manager, is it a good idea?

Solution Manager is a central component for system landscape and can be used for effective implementations, Customizing synchronization as well as operational procesing. Learning Solman is a necessary for all SAP consultants in future. You can well understand through SAP help.

Can a functional consulatnt go for solution manager certification. How tough is solamn certification exam. Is knowledge of Soution Manager is good for future. Also if certification in Solution Manager will have any advantages in my future, which i would like in continue in implementation projects.
