Hi, During confirmation with co11n, if the yield qty is more than 1, observed that the setup time is proposed as the setup time req for 1 qty only. it is not multiplied by operation qty. please advise what need to be done to get the total set time required for total yield qty. please advise.

Hi
Setup time is normally taken as setup for only one qty, operation qty is not considered,
If every pc requires setup then you can consider this time in the processing time & exclude setup time,
Else if you want to calculate setup separatly & also the price is different for setup, in such cases you
can go to the formula (OP54)for setup (you may be using std SAP001) & change it so that it includes operation qty as well,
You can check the formula for processing time as reference.

Dear ,
What is the Setup Formula are u assining to your work centre -CR02-Capacity Tab /Scheduling -Execution Tab .
I hope the standard one is Set up Formula : SAP001 =SAP_01 , Here SAP_01 is a Time dimenstion with Min as Unit .There is no multiplication of Qty .You can chek the same in OP55 and then OP52
Now , if you want to consider the operation qty which will be multiplied , then you should go ahead with (OP55/OP52)
SAP003 = SAP_03 * SAP_09 / SAP_08 / SAP_11 where SAP_03 --Lbr Hrs
SAP_09 -Operation Qty
SAP_08 -Base Qty , SAP_11-Operation Split timin
Hope this is clear to u

Say 1 min for each quantity likewise?

Hi,
Set up is a time required to set up the machine, e.g. changing the mould, or tool etc. So this time is not related to the quantity of production. Also check the formula entered SAP001, which is not related to the quantity.
