Runtime Error(ABAP Programming Error) in customising Launchpad for ESS Menu

Hi Experts

  I am facing a strange issue in portal for ESS Implementation.(ECC6,EHP6 Portal 7.3)

I am unable to do any customizations in LPD_CUST  for  the existing or new Launchpad roles .

I am facing this issue from the time i have applied note for Launchpad transport.

(I was facing an issue(missing texts) with transport ofLaunchpad role ,hence I applied the below mentioned notes.

0001680522 LPD: Displaying all text IDs,0001714746 LPD: Texts are missing after you transport launchpad,0001768132 LPD: Translation of launchpad texts with text version 4.0,0001786881 LPD: Missing namespace when translating entries.

After the note is applied I am able to transport the Launchpad but when I try to do any modifications to the existing Launchpad like
add any new application (texts)and save its throwing runtime error.

“ABAP Programming Error” Data length negative.

Please help me resolve this issue.

kindly post ur comments here how you transported from DEV TO QAS ...the launchpad it will be helpful for others also .....are u able to see the texts in qas also after moving ?
