Resource availability

Hi Gurus,

1. Resource availability-As per business requirement while creating/releasing the order system should propose the resource (Work centre) availability

Pls let me know if any standard setting is there or we have to go for user exit.

Hi,

I am not sure of resource availbility but you can check capacity availability check while releasing the work order ,

You can do by assigning an Overall Profile to combination of Plant & Order type in OIOI for business function 2

You can remove tick mark in No Check option for Capacity availability & for release order give option as 3

At the same time at work center for Capacity header you should have to Relevant to Finite Scheduling marked ..

Thus once u have all the above settings when u release the Order system performs capacity avaibility check at work center and suggests a new date when capapcity is available ..

Hi Fried,

As per your instruction i maintained the overall profile SAPSFCG013,release order-3 and removed no check tick also set the finite scheduling indicator in work centre.but still it is not checking the avalabilty for example i created/released the order A of work centre W of 1 resource per day 8 hrs and for the same scheduling time the work centreallowed me to create another order B.so pls let me know what i need to check further???

Hi now i have used overallprofile SAPPM_G013 then working fine..nice suggestion...

pl check how capacity is maintained in the work center.

if in the planning details, it is enabled for several operations , assigning to 2 operations are possible
