Rescheduling dates not considering GR processing time

Hello All,

I am facing a problem while getting 'rescheduling dates' in MD04.

The scenario is like:

We have maintained 'GR processing time as 3 days' in material master for the material.

Also, we have maintained tolearance value forward and displacement as '1' and '5' respectively, and, rescheduling horizon as '200'.

In MD04, I am using 'Goods receipt' date as default viewing date.

We have a sales order on 27.07.2015 for '5' quantities.

And, we have a production order on 13.07.2015 also for '5' quantities.

Now, In MD04, system proposes exception '15' for production order to postpone it to '27.07.2015'.

After that, if we reschedule the production order to '27.07.2015' (as proposed by system), it will again proposes exception '10' to bring

process forward as we have maintained 'GR processing time' as '3' days.

So, here SAP is not proposing the correct date taking 'GR processing time' into account.

Kindly suggest me how can I include the GR processing time into rescheduling date calculation and correct this situation.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Anuj

Anuj,

Rescheduling dates do not consider GR processing time during calculation as per Standard system design.

You need to develop a custom report to display dates as per your business need.See below similar thread

Hello Anuj,

Please refer 1745312 - MRP creates redundant proposals though there are fixed future receipts which can cover the requirements.

The fixed future receipt lies out of the rescheduling horizon or it is not selected for rescheduling.

It is only considered for rescheduling when it lies in the rescheduling horizon and it is selected to be considered for rescheduling in the customization.

In-house production.

- In-house production time.  (Maintained in the material master, working days.)

- GR processing time.          (Maintained in the material master, working days.)

MRP group in OMDW it has higher priority than the one of plant. If the MRP group is entered in the material master but there is no value in OMDW for MRP group then the horizon for plant maintained is read.
