Hello Team,
We received an issue where a Purchase Order was created with UOM PDA. During output message processing, the system generated an error indicating that an ISO Code is not maintained for UOM PDA.
To validate the issue, we replicated the scenario in the Quality system and temporarily maintained ISO Code 5E for testing purposes. After maintaining this ISO Code, the output message was processed successfully, and the issue was resolved in the Quality environment.
Could you please confirm the correct ISO Code that should be maintained for UOM PDA so that the configuration can be updated accordingly?
Request clarification before answering.
The issue is caused by the missing ISO Code assignment for UOM PDA. The temporary assignment of 5E in the Quality system successfully resolved the output processing error, but this should not be transported to Production without confirming that 5E is the correct business mapping.
Please confirm the standard/correct ISO Code for UOM PDA based on the business meaning and external interface/output requirement. Once confirmed, the corresponding ISO Code can be maintained in the UOM configuration and transported to the relevant systems.
Recommendation: Please verify the PDA unit's definition with the business/interface team and confirm whether 5E is the intended ISO mapping before making the Production configuration change.
