Hi,

Whenever we do a GR cancellation using 102 movement type, the reference doucment number ( ie 101 GR docuemnt number is getting stored ) in the reference document field of Purchase Order data.

Similarly i want to track the reference GR number for a material doucment number whenever a SES is revoked.

In short i want to have a link between the 101 document number and the 102 document number in the case of SES.

How to link both of thes documents.

Please suggest.

Regards,

RitiG

Hi,

Are you saying that they are not linked?

What is in the reference doc field of the 102 that is created for an SES cancellation?

Hi,

So does that mean that there was not a problem?

Or did you want something else?

Hi Yogesh,

Sorry for my poor communication.

Let me explain in detail.

I am processing a service PO with Item category D and account assignment category as K.

w.r.t the PO, i am doing a service entry sheet ( ML81N ), as a result of this i am getting a material document number with the movement type 101 in the background.

In the material document of 101, the reference field contains the SES number.

Due to some reasons, i had revoked the SES again as a result of which a material document with 102 movement type gets posted.

in the material document of 102, the reference field contains the SES number.

Whereas i want to link the 102 document with the 101 material document.

( Note : This automatically happens in case of normal GR without SES, ie the material docuement of 102 contains the reference as 101 material document )

I hope now my requirement is clear.

Hi,

Why do you need the connection between the two material documents?

the connection is there because of the SES number but why do you specifically need the material document number as the link?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your support,

We had got the requirement by changing the logic in the Z report. I really feel sorry for being unable to express my actual requirement.

Hi RitiG,

there is absolutely no need whatsoever to apologise for the way that you have expressed your requirement. We can always ask for more details if we need to.

I can only speak one language and if I had to try to post a question in another language I simply could not do it and so I respect your situation and you did TRY to explain it. Umlike some people who just post a one line question simply because they are too lazy to take the time to explain.

So don't worry, we know that you always try your best and your questions are good.
