Dear Gurus,
We are facing a problem regarding recursive nature of the BOM. In our configuration we did the copy parameters of BOM usage 1 and created BOM usage 9 with the same parameters.
For the some of the products which are having the IN-put and OUT-put (recursive nature) is same we maintained with the usage 9.
At the time of standard cost run it is not allowing to do it but for some products it is allowing.
Any flash lights or helpful answer or solution to this please.

Dear Madhu,
If I remember in the case of a recursive BOM,the component quantity can be a max to 0.95(or 0.96),so that the
system does not issues any error message during costing.
If the BOM structure is in such a way that if the BOM component quantity for the recursive item is maintained as
1 Qty or more than 1,then at the time of product costing the system issues error message.

Check with this and correct me if I'm wrong.

Dear All,
I have with recursive material costing :
The BOM is
Header Material base Qty : 1 T
same material as component qty 0.9 T
In costing Lot size as 1 T in CK11N
System is costing material recursively and showing wrong cost estimate.
My material price is Rs. 101 per Ton.
& activity cost is 2.96
But in cost estimate system is exploding BOM recursively and showing wrong value of component price as 26.60
That's why wrong COGM value is 29.56.
But we need the value as 103.96
Any help will be appreciated.
