Read PP master data

Hi All,

I have created WBS BOM for xxx WBS Element

when i do MRP Run against that WBS Element, only Planned order gets created for finished material, But PR not generated for WBS BOM components  (won't display in MD4C)

and after planned order to Production order creation

in Production Order, when i do Read PP Master data then only WBS BOM get copied in Production Order & after MRP run on same WBS PR will generate & display in MD4C result.

why Read PP master data is mandatory in case of WBS BOM

Hi Pushkar,

If for the WBS BOM components in MRP4 View ind/coll is maintained as 2, then system will not plan for procurement proposals agains that project. Please check material master setting and change the same to 1 and re-run the MRP.

Thanx All for the help

But my issue is resolved by below setting

Plant Parameters (OPPQ) ---- BOM Explosion ---- Tick on (so BOM/WBS BOM active)

Hi Pushkar,

Please check individual/collective indicator in the material master is set to 1 so that all material will get planned in MD51 other wise you need to run MD02 to plan the dependent materials.

Please check WBS element is assign to your planned order there is no need to use Read PP master data.

Also check any exception message there in MD04.
