Quick solution for Bin location

Hi Experts,

I was investigating for any good solution for covering request of bin location without any add-on, but unfortuantely i didnt find any which demonstrate it with UDF and UDT and FS.

Is it possibble to get it in details from anybody?

What I exactly need is a workround for the following:

there are 3 warehouse with 1000 items in each

in each warehouse there are cca. 300 locations or bins in what we store bottles.

If one location is full that I must solve somehow to transfer from one bin into another but in the same warehouse!

Moreover I must solve to track the movements in sales and purchase documents and report stock on bin level.

Please if You have any good solution than let me know.

Hello Eszter,

The Bin tracking functionality can be creating using UDF and Formatted Search and Stored Procedures but it is a lot of work and might not work as well as an AddOn would do.

I have implemented the above without an AddOn, it works but might not be user friendly. I will strongly suggest that you look at the AddOn's just for Bin Tracking one is from CitiXsys and another is from Navigator.

I have seen them and they really look good and they are not that expensive. My choice Inventory Pro from CitiXSys
