Hi,

Ur requirement can fulfilled by using scales which defined in the condition type.

Example:condition type:PR00

Scales

A scale in a condition record where prices, discounts, or surcharges are defined for different customer order quantities or values.

This scale is used by the system to determine the price, discount, or surcharge for a given quantity or value.

This is defined in the each condition type

spro--> img>sd->basic functions> pricing>pricing control->define cond type--->select any one condtion type eg: PR00--> come down u will find scales views.

scales basis:

depending upon the scales basis the prices are determined according.In the scale basis select B Value scale.

Now goto VK11--> pr00> select material with release status--> enter the material & give the first price INR.50/unit

now selct the line--> click GOTO in the menu bar & select scales> here in the second line give from:200 & amount:25/unit---> save

check out in the sales order

The other sclae basis avalibale are:

B Value scale

C Quantity scale

D Gross weight scale

E Net weight scale

F Volume scale

G Scale based on a formula

L Point scale

M Time period scale - Month

N Time period scale - Years

O Time period scale - Days

P Time period scale - Week

R Distance

S Number of shipping units

T reserved (IS-OIL, time prices

X reserved (IS-OIL, day prices)

hope this helps u

Hi Calphumia

When you create a condition record for a pricing element, you can define a pricing scale. For example, a scale based on quantity can determine that the more a customer orders of a particular product, the lower the price. You can also create condition records with graduated scales. For further information, see Pricing interval scales.

Scale Basis

In the standard system, a pricing scale can be based on any of the following criteria:
· Value
· Quantity
· Gross weight
· Net weight
· Volume
· A formula specific to your requirements

The scale basis is defined in Customizing for Sales for each condition type.
Creating Scales

The following procedure explains how to create a pricing scale for, as an example, a material price. You create pricing scales for other condition types in exactly the same way.

To create a pricing scale:

1. Choose Goto ® Scales in the fast-entry screen of the condition record for a material price.
2. Enter a scale quantity and a rate.
3. To save the condition record, choose Save.

Specifying Scale Types

In each condition record where you define a scale, you can further specify the scale type. The scale type determines whether the scale is a From-scale or a To-scale. For example, if you specify a From-scale that is based on quantity, the scale determines different prices based on different quantities. To change the scale type for a condition record, choose Goto ® Details. Specify the scale type you want to use.

Special Feature of Calculating the Scale Base Value: Group Conditions

In Customizing for Sales, you can define a condition type as a group condition. A group condition means, for example, that the system bases a discount on the combined quantities of more than one item in a sales document. The combined quantities may mean that the customer gets a better price than if the items were priced individually.

Thanks

Hi

You can very well enable this by means of scales.

1. You have to configure the Scales tab of the condition types in V/06

2. While maintaining condition records in VK11,

In VK11, in the condition value entry screen Go to--->scales

Here you can maintain the scale based values.

Hope this information helps you

Hi,

Scales are used to seggregate pricing based on Quantities. That means you can maintain multiple prices for the same material based on the order qty.

To activate scales in any condition type use

IMG -> Sales and Distribution

-> Basic Function

-> Pricing

-> pricing Control

-> Define Condition type

The Scales are used when for example

when order is for less then 10 pounds price is Rs 200 / Kg

when it is more then or equal to 10 pounds price is Rs 100 /Kg

Award points if it add information.

Thanks
