Hello my dear colleagues,

I am a PS Consultant. A new client of mine has a problem. In the project coding, the coding and levels of the project are as in the example in the appendix. Their system automatically brings the code of the breakdowns and the levels wrong.

There are projects that they have created before and that are still ongoing. I thought about changing the project mask but it has already created and ongoing projects.

I can say that I do not recommend my client for this coding and wrong levels, but he will automatically ask for it to be correct.

I'd appreciate it if someone with more knowledge could elaborate.

Please clarify what needs to be fixed.

If you just need to correct the ids of the WBS elements within the format of the existing Coding Mask that shouldn't be a problem.

The "real" id of the WBS is buried in the SAP tables, the WBS id which the user sees is an external representation and can be updated.

Where can I update the WBS representation that the user sees and if it is updateable?

You can change it in Project Builder CJ20N.

It can be changed up to the point when postings are made. After that it is too late.
