Production version selection

Hi Guys,

I have more than one production version , consider that i have 1000 requirement for the FG while after MRP i want system to create planned order 100 for Production version 0001 and 900 for production version 0002.

Please analyse the possiblity

Dear,

Goto MD62

Execute the report

Goto Schedule line tab page

Fallow the menu path

Setting Production version

Enter the Production version required

Save

Also Use quata arrangement (T. Code MEQ1) here you can define the which producion version has been used up to define time period and Qty.

Production Version selection is based on

1. Lot size

2. Validity

If these two are same both the PVs then system will select by default the first one.

look into these and change the parametrs so that system will select the 2nd PV.

Otherwise do the customization settings in OPL8 for the Plant and order typ combination.

When you run MRP for 1000 nos.It will create a planned order for 1000 nos.Then this planned order is converted in to production order.When you are converting it you can create a production order for 600 nos with prod version 1 and next 400 with production version 2.When we run MRP system will not create production order,it will only create planned order and purchase requisition.We need to convert this planned order to production order and Purchase req to purchase order.While converting you can pick production version as you wish.

Hi,

- If you are using PIR then in MD61 it self you can select your required Production Version.Go to Sched Line tab ---> Settings ---> Click on Production Version.

Split your requirement qty. as per your selection of Production Version.

- If it about Sales Order then you can do it by using Quota Arrangement (MEQ1).

- Try it by setting Minimum Lot size as 100 and Maximum Lot size as 900.

Then go to c223 and for Production Version 0001 set allowed lot size as 1 to 100 and for Production version 0002 set allowed lot size as 101 to 900.Then run MRP.

Hi,

You can handle this thru Quota arrangement.

Maintain Quota arrangement usage in MRP2 view.

Create quota for material in MEQ1.

In the second screen of this transaction you maintain the production version and the %ge. Do the same for second version.
