Hi S kumar,

you can check your patch level as follows:-

Try T code : - SPAM and check your package level

If you dont have authorisation then

Go to SAP EASY Acess :-

select System > Status >

Here u will be able to see SAP System Data , click the Component Version , where u will be able to see the current level of patch.

Up to which you are allowed to update, that your client would be having the Service centre ID where in , all the patches which has released and can be downloaded would be available..

Hi,

Support Patches generally contains corrections to standard programs/codes released by SAP. These support patches are released as per Versions and Software Component of SAP. The current Support Patch Level for SAP HR ECC 6.00 is perhaps 42.

It is always advisable to have latest patch level (or not more than 2 patch level behind the latest) in the system. This way you will be sure that your system is ready with the latest developments/corrections (bug fixes, legal changes, etc).

Of course this activity is done by BASIS person. You only need to tell them upto what patch level you want to take your system to for your software component.

Hope this helps.
