Partial Usage decision

Hello QM masters,

Is there a way to make a partial UD? In goods receipt I need to post to unrestricted use the good palettes and maintain the NOK palettes on the inspection lot so the quality staff can inspect the NOK palettes. Is this possible?

Hi

Pl try this.

When you make UD via Qa32 after Results recording, in Inspn lot stock Tab, you manually enter the required qty in Unrestricted tab and press enter.You will get a warning message and Qty to be posted will change to the Qty which you entered manually in Unrestricted field.Now save your Ud.

When again you want to take UD for same inspn lot, go to QA 12. In to be posted field you can see the qty which is left after Ist ud.You can now post the qty accordingly.Hope this will help you.

It worked fine. Now I will try to solve the handling units problem and after I will update you with the result or your solution. One question: If I have the handling units working correctly I should see the palettes instead of quantity in the UD transaction right?

how can we done quality inspection of handling unit as you specify in your answer that you want to quality inspection of handling unit instead of quantity.please guide me.

Yes Tiago it's absolutly possible,

Do it this way,,,

As mentioned in above reply you post just that much quantity to Unrestricted use of those good palletes only. And the rest of NOK palletes, leve them as it is in Quality stock only.

Now the second issue is, you need to record the result, that is from your quality staff also.. for that I would suggest you to keep your MICs as "Long term inspection" activated. That will help you to record results for your MIcs after UD and stock posting also.
