I have a scenario where 2 resources cannot be scheduled in parallel due to their physical location within the plant.
I want to configure the system so that resource A1 is not scheduled at the same time as resource A2. So system should not schedule orders in parallel for these resources. How can I achieve this?
Request clarification before answering.
I was considering creating a pooled capacity and assigning it to these resources or creating a secondary resource for the location of these resources and assigning it to the product PPM's... but I'm not sure if either of these approaches would achieve desired results.

Dear George,
In the standard SAP system there is no check for meeting this requirement.
When creating the order the system carries out scheduling as per the routing details maintained and it proposes the production
date/timings.
Check and revert back.

In parallel you mean for operation(s) in the same routing, or between different production orders?
