OSS notes

HI Gurus,

Can anybody please give me the steps on how to create an OSS notes with SAP.?

"Go to https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/support and enter with user name and password

if you do not have user name than ask your basis team who will create one id for you

than click on Help andSupport tab

click on report product error

enter the your comany detail in system search

after search it will find your system

now click on the system

it will take you to step 2

here you enter the error you are facing hit continue now it will take you to step 3

find solution

and here if oyu don;t find the solution than it will allow you to create the meesage to SAP in step 4

Hi,

First better search SAP Notes for your problem if u didnt find any solution for it then log an OSS request.

Log into service market place

www.service.sap.com

https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/

use ur project log in ID and password

click on SAP support portal..

then product error

then select ur server eg. Production server - client 500

then select area - eg. module MM or FI

then select sub module like purchasing or inventory

then log a request ....describe problem faced by u in detail.

select Severity of OSS message .....

enter ur office phone number

On saving this request a number will be generated - note it to track later.

Hi,

Please go to the service.sap.com with your S id and password and then take the report a product error .in the next screen proovide the system like prod/quality/development and provide a heading and provide the component of the problem to which it belongs like logisticsmmpurchasing like that.

Then search for any existing notes with the message.If systom could not find any note related to your query then create the message and send.and note down the message number.
