Hi,

for hide the field in the material mater, you should follow the following way.

1. you should know the feild name for the particular feild and then you can go to this T:Code: OMSR and here you select field namd feild and give your particular field name what field you going to hide or diplay. just here you note it selection group number.

2.T: code : OMS9,

GO Position -

.> give your feild reference that is material Type--

>select material type--

> then select details icon -

>here you can select what you need that is required entry or display radio buttern.

Check out the path...

Ref IMG--> Logistics General --> Materia Master -->

Configuring the Material Master....

1. Define Structure for Data Screens....

Here, you define some fields, under groups....

(Eg., Material Unit of measures.. like, order unit, issue unit

etc.,)

2. Field Selection......(click the field selction screen, and Click on Details..., you can see the numbers(these are groups).

3. You assign this Field Selection ( mandatory/hide/display) to your plant,......in the next step

Based on the step 2, you can deside whether the input is optional / display / mandatory / hide..........

Hopes clear.............

Hi,

You create a field reference and do the changes.

Then goto IMG>Logistics General>Material Master>Basic Settings>Material Types-->Define attributes of

material types--> then select the material type and click on details then in the Field Reference field select the one which you created.

Thanks and regards
