Hi,

The scenario is i want to run the off cycle payment for the past payroll period, i know as per the standard system ll not allow to run for past payroll period say for two months back.

I want to know how do i change the standard setting for this, how can i run off cycle for past payroll periods. Kindly help me on the same. This is one of the requirement from client end. Though i have given alternative solution, client is not getting satisfied. Client requires to run off cycle for that particular date and period

Hi Deepen,

Unfortunately this is not possible, even logically its not possible.

Offycycle payroll is just a provision to enable employee to pay before current month pay day if last payroll has already been processed.

Can you make us understand or ask your client for a business justification of running two month back offcycle.

Yes in one way It can be possible. where you are running Current month regular pay and if you have any offcycle (already processed two months back) then modify or add some wagetypes in IT0267 which will enable retro processing of Offcycle in current Regular pay ONLY.

Hi,

I have already suggested the solution which you have given, paying through regular run, but here client will be paying certain payment only through off cycle and not in regular, its a government sector. So client requires only to run through off cycle.

Need to run the off cycle for past payroll period, say for an example 3 period back where already the payroll has been executed. I know its not possible to run as per standard setting, i need to break the standard setting is it possible or not, please help me on the same.

Hi Deepan,

I understand we used to get these nasty requirements from client, As you said this is not possible, on top to it, I would like to recommend.. dont even try to break that setting even by ABAP otherwise your whole system will go for a toss.

If client is not trusting  you, get SAP involve into it. Atleast Client must believe the creator.
