We got requirement to setup Non-sequential Payment Approval Processes and each level should have two Approver before its move to second level of approval workflow.
The current solution design does not allow for 1 payment group with then dual approval but does provide functionality for non-sequential approval pattern
Using SSCUI – 102336 - Settings for Payment Approval Processes payment approval patterns can be configured. These patterns are then assigned to the related approval group to which the users are assigned app “Manage Bank Accounts”.
Using non-sequential patterns, the signatory groups can approve payments regardless of sequential order so both signatory groups should receive the notification at the same time
Using this approach the users can then approve the item at the same time without the need for a 1st approval and then notification to the second signatory group for the second approver.
