Hi SAP GURUS,

I am new in Plan Maintenance and I want consult about Multiple Counter plan. I have a scenario with the following cycles and conditions for fleet objects:

     Cycle 1     1000 KM OR 1 MON

     Cycle 2     5000 KM OR 3 MON

     Cycle 3     10000 KM OR 6 MON

     Cycle 4     15000 KM OR 9 MON

     Cycle 5     20000 KM OR 12 MON

     Cycle 6     25000 KM OR 15 MON

     Cycle 7     30000 KM OR 18 MON

     Cycle 8     35000 KM OR 21 MON

     Cycle 9     40000 KM OR 24 MON

     Cycle 10   45000 KM OR 27 MON

     Cycle 11   50000 KM OR 30 MON

     Cycle 12   55000 KM OR 33 MON

     Cycle 13   60000 KM OR 36 MON

     Cycle 14   65000 KM OR 39 MON

     Cycle 15   70000 KM OR 42 MON

     Cycle 16   75000 KM OR 45 MON

     Cycle 17   80000 KM OR 48 MON

     Cycle 18   85000 KM OR 51 MON

     Cycle 19   90000 KM OR 54 MON

     Cycle 20   95000 KM OR 57 MON

     Cycle 21   100000 KM OR 60 MON

Our client scheduled their preventive maintenance with the above cycle. Once the fleet object reached the cycle 21, the fleet object will undergo maintenance back to cycle 1. Now, I created a maintenance cycle set via IP11Z with these cycles. I then created a maintenance plan via IP43 and choose my created cycle set. The maintenance item is assigned per cycle in the maintenance plan. Using IP10, I tried to schedule the maintenance plan.

Annual Estimate:          20,000 KM

First Counter Reading:  500

First Ctr Rdg Date:       03/04/2013 (March 4, 2013)

When I try to run the schedule, the system generated a planned date of 03/22/2013. When I check using manual calculation:

March 3 + (1000 - 500)/20000 x 365 days

March 3 + 9.13 days

= approximately March 13 or 14 should be the next schedule of the maintenance

From the schedule generated vs the manual calculation, I'd like to know why is the system generated a plan date not almost exactly near the manual computation?

Appreciate your help on this.

Thanks,

Ercz

hi

Whie sechduling the plan i think you have started with 0 km hence the call date is 22nd march . annual estimate 20000 ie 54.7 km /day hence for completing the 1000 km it will take 18 days.

also you can check the scheduling overview in Ip10 where system will display about the when the next call will appear at which reading
