Material Types

Hi,

my SAP-Test system is completely empty and I am make all the customizing (or at least trying it).

I tried to create a material type at Transaction OMS2, the Table T134 is empty and when I press "New Entries", SAP says:

"No entries found that match selection criteria Message no. SV004"

I cannot copy a material type, because the table is empty. I tried SM30, but I got similar error.

How can I create a material type, so I can create at least one material?

Hi,

Contact your system administrator, as it is a test client it's happening.

There is a mistake happen while copying the client, he provided you a blank client.

Hi Joao,

It is always suggested to create a new material type by copying an existing one, but as per screen shot, in your test server there is no entry for material type, so you should at least create a new material type in DEV server and create the same in Test by transport request & then proceed further by copying that material type!

Hi Joao,

Standard materials are provided by SAP, it is quite strange to see it is blank.

I suspect some one must have deleted the standard entries.Please copy these from golden client.
