Material Staging Process

Hi ,

Can anybode let me know the complete Flow of material staging. ( With all transactions)

I am doing material staging for process order. But i am facing problems while doing it.

Even i dont know how coulid i check, Whether the material staging completed or not.

Please guide me.

Hi,

Material staging- are you looking at solution how to consume material using 261 mvt type, you can do this during confirmation of process order, using t code MB1A using 261 mvt type against Process order or to move the material from Storage location(Stores) to Shopfloor storage loc with 311 mvt type in MB1B Tcode.

Hi Amit,

The material staging is done by only one transaction MF60.

These are the main steps in material staging

1)Create replenishment proposals

2)Execute batch/stock determination

3)Stage replenishment proposal

4)Post replenishment proposal

These steps can be executed either in dialog or automatically and you can set this via MF60/Global settings/Dialog control.

As you said that you are trying to stage materials for Process order.Your steps would be

1)Write the process order in the Mf60 screen and execute.

Rsult:The screen will show you the list of components that are in shortage at the issue storage location and are required for that process order.

2)Click on replenishment elements,select the components you want to replenish and then click on the Replenishment proposals.

Result:A list of the components will come and you need to enter a replenishment location from which the materials will be transferred to the issue storage location.

3)Enter the replenisment storage location and then select the component and click on stage.

Result:If enough quantaties of material will be there then a green tick will come alongside the replenishment proposal.

4)Click on the save button which will post the document and then you can be sure that the components have been staged.
