Hi experts,

Does anyone know what is material requisition? Is it the same thing as purchase requisition? I am going to automate this process. Please kindly provide some relevant information or documents.

some time clients use both terms

Purchase Requsition - for material to be procured

Material Requsition - For material to be issued from stores. also some times used in place of purchase requsition

Hi John,

For my case, material requisition is meant for material to be issued from stores. I need to automate the process from material reservation based on production order, generation of picking list till transfer posting. Any suggestions how it could be done in ECC 6.0? Or is there any existing standard flow provided by SAP?

Material requisition is a goods or material that you want to procured in Purhcase requisition.

Please check below link for automatic PO from PR, the PR also can be automatic from MRP.
