Material ledger problem

Sir i am facing error message

material ledger not active in plant ......... , pl suggest how to set so that i can get report.

Hi Abhijeet,

Goto TCode: OMX1 and activate the material ledger for your valuation area.

I think this should solve your problem. If not give us the error code and also tell us exactly in which TCode you are getting this error.

Sir according to your suggetion in OMX1, i had activated material ledger for valuation area, now in CKM3 i got an error messsage that '' no material ledger header data found for material raw plant '' and in material master MM01 i am not able to create material an erroe message appears after quality manignment view that '' Valuation area not yet productive with material ledger '' and EXITS from MM01 screen.If i remove tick from OMX1 then in CKM3 error message appears that

''material ledger not active in valuation area ''.

Sir please suggest me approprate solution to overcome this problem.I wait for your reply.

Hello,

it is not enough just to activate the Material Ledger. You have to start it up for productive use, TA CKMSTART. There are a lot of OSS notes regarding this topic. So, search and read them first.

With TA CKM9 you can check, whether all the Customizing pre-conditions met for ML. I assume not...

In t-code MI07 ( Post inventory differance )when i post message appears '' Account determination for entry CAIN GBB 0001 inv 3000 not possible '' .How to overcome this message so that i will able to post my inventey differance.
