I am looking for an example list of material groups especially for MRO materials

All material Groups you can see in t023 and t023t tables.

but we may not say MRO material groups specifically

it depends on purely material type.

mostly material groups are business naming conventions we do follow right.

SAP dont define any SAP specific material group . There are some organisation like eClass and UNSPSC global material groups.

Hi,

please check

Material groups are dependent from logistics charecteristics, you could define your material groups for example as

- protective articles,

- electronics (like batteries)

- factory equipments

- special packaging

- office supplies

- weldings,

- machining tools, etc.
